Steam Train – KVR Last of her Kind
There are not many places left where steam driven trains still operate, the KVR (Kettle Valley Railway) is one of the last in BC. Operating in the summer months the KVR gives people a glimpse of the not to distant past. Being born in Hungary as a child I remember riding on coal powered steam driven trains. The sounds, smoke and soot are all fantastic memories of time spent with my grandmother traveling to nearby towns.
